Rage 2 Blade Broadheads in NY??
Are they illegal in NY state. Someone told me that you have to use the three blade rage???

If it locks opened, once it opens, its illegal. In NYS broadheads must be able to back out.

A couple years ago there was a sign in gander mt that said the rage 3 blade was illegal in NY, why not the 2 blade I have no idea

3 blades tend to hang up when being pulld out - hense the barbed/illegal in NY.
The 2 blades don't have this issue.

Two and Three blades are legal, they are designed to retract. Until the DEC says officially otherwise there is no issue.
I use the two bladers.

I was informed that 2blades are legal, three blades are illegal for the Rage broadheads.

There was nothing officially said by the DEC that the three blades being illegal.
