It is a warble, in fact I think there are two of them that we can see on the neck.
It isn’t uncommon for rabbits to have warbles during the summer. Though. I suspect it probably pretty uncomfortable for the rabbit it doesn’t seem to have much of an adverse or long term affect on them.

R.S.B.; we haven't seen the rabbit for the past two day's. Lots of stray cats! Was thinking about trapping the rabbit in a have-a-heart trap and take to the southwest office. Only because and this is why I posted the picture first,the rabbit looks as though it was born with a partial second head? Our neighbor has sat out with us to wait for the rabbit,he believes he is looking at another eyeball below the rabbits chin.

RSB, while Ive heard it stated that warbles might not have severe or long term effects on the host rabbit once they later drop off, and that may be usually the case, Ive had 2 occassions where Ive seen full grown rabbits with warbles that were very weak and could barely walk. I have little doubt they most likely died shortly after Id seen them.
