Default AR' s in PA SRA' s

A friend told me today that they were passed for SRA' s. I didn' t beleive him until I checked out huntingpa' s message board. I haven' t had time to read any material or posts on the new changes yet. He told me that Allegheny County went to 4 points to a side. I asked the GW at the sports expo about it in February and he told me that it' ll never happen because there' s too many deer. I think if you want to control the population then you have to shoot the does and by making it illegal to shoot the majority of bucks, you' re almost forced to shoot the does. I think this is a step in the right direction and can' t wait to see the results in the years to come.

I was aware that the spec. reg counties around Pittsburgh had antler restrictions but that the spec. reg areas around Philly were still going by the old antler restrictions. Is this changing or has it changed?

As far as I know, and I haven' t had the time to seriously look into it, the Philly areas are going to a 3 point per side restriction and the Pittsburgh area is at 4 points to a side.
