Default NY state land turkey spots
Was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for some good state land turkey hunting in western NY/southern tier....in/around Allegany County??

Check the Erwin Wildlife Management Area in Steuben. It's between Corning and Addison, NY.

where in allegany county are you looking ? I know a good spot in Vandalia but that is in Catt. county

Hanging Bog in Rushford is suppose to be one of the best spots in the state. If you go to Alleghany Park, watch for when the season ends. You can not hunt Memorial Day Weekend. Also, the park in surrounded by Indian land. I think you might need to get a permit to hunt on their land. I know you need one for fishing.
