Default Turkeys Everywhere!

Over the course of my much too short weekend, traveling some backroads and reacquanting myself with some landowners, I was fortunate to see over 200 turkeys. They appear to still be traveling in winter's large flocks, but lots of fighting starting to break out between the gobblers and even some hens getting in on it. Lots of raucous gobbling and more than a few strutting and vying for dominance. Boys, it is going to be a great spring! This pic is kind of small, but is of a flock of 22 of whichI believe all were jakes with visible beards.

Default RE: Turkeys Everywhere!

I have seen so many turkeys that I lost count in the past few weeks. It's going to be a blood bath this spring. Even gomer pile could shot a turkey this year.
