Default Hearing any gobblers yet?

I know its a little early yet, but with this wave of nice weather I was wondering if anyone is hearing them. I haven't been in the woods in about two weeks...did a little shed hunting/ scouting the other wkd., but a bit early for the sheds as well. Truth is the nice weather just got me a little touch of cabin fever, and got me thinkingabout hard gobbling longbeards and fat trout rising.C'mon spring!

Heard one gobbling out back last week. He was gobbling at first light, and was still gobbling 2 hours later. 2 days later and 3 miles away, I was checking out a trailcam and heard another one going at it. This morning, heard another one out back, along with another one gobbling on another ridge on the other side of the road.

This is about normal up here. I generally start hearing them gobble about the middle of February, then they hush up until mid-mrch or the beggining of April. Little early this year.

They gobble some all year, but really step it up during March, April and May.

That is a neat pic.!!

The turks haven't moved back into their spring range as yet so I haven't heard any gobbling as yet in 5C.

Checked a trailcam today and had 69 pictures of this bunch. There's 12 longbeards in this group.

I have 41 turkeys that come to our bird feeders on a regular time table. I would not harm a feather on them. When I drive down the driveway they chase the car.
