i went to that BLUE CODE stuff in gel and it froze solid.
no scent at all from it.
i dont think my tinks ever froze that it would still not work.
anyone run into this.
You could mix Propylene Glycol with it. Find someone who traps and have them mix it for you. Urines will freeze if anti freeze isn't mixed with it. But a deers nose can smell it frozen or thawed as a canine can. The antifreeze just makes it easier to apply to your scent post.
why would you put ethylene glycol in a scent. Add a foreign odor is all thats going to do. Just bring it in the house after hunting so it doesnt freeze.
It is odorless. If it wasn't, do you think trappers would use it? Do you think they would catch animals if it had an odor to it? Trust me,trappers are more weary of items that leave scent at a set than hunters are. Way more, because some depends on catches for their income.
