Maine Hunters: Wondering if any Maine Hunters familiar with Russell Mt, hunting there, ins and outs, etc.

I had trouble locating where you are talking about but did find it on google. I have no idea on that area but would like to add that with our heavey winter last year that deer numbers should be down there. You are talking about the Moosehead lake area right?I am a long ways from there and I have so far only traveled down to Wisscassett area to hunt. Except for thisSept. I went out to Vinal Haven on an archery hunt. i had a great time and saw 18 deer in 3 days. But due to all the leaves I didn't have any success. i am planning on returning there next year around the end of October though and can't wait..

crokit was up there this year went to Russell mt and areas around there with snow found very little sign of big bucks saw a few does went east toward baxter got into some big ones there passed on three small bucks didnnt get a shot on a big one this year theres hope for next season though.
