Whats with this NJ Bear hunt

I just saw in the newspaper something about someone being appointed to some position for the upcoming December bear hunt. Anyone know where this is going, first I heard anything about a Dec. hunt.

DEP Commissioner Bradley Campbell has taken over control of the bear hunt once it starts. He can call it off at any time. Contact him and let him know you support the hunt.
