Default Any ideas how to keep turkeys off the corn?

It is legal to bait DEER in NJ. Does anyone have and remedies on how to keep the turkeys off the corn? I switched tocorn on the coband that didn't slow them down?

find a way to elivate it off the ground atleast 2 feet or so.

A load of Hevi-Shot #6's will work every time.

Seriously, there isn't a way. They'll get it as long as it's on the ground.

Although, if you have a turkey problem come spring, I'd be happy to take care of that problem!

Hey Johnnieo, judging by the posts, and the size of the turkey flocks where you are, you need about 47 more volunteers to eliminate your turkey problem!

What about an owl or hawk decoy?

I say weset up a perimeter under the cover of darknessaroundthe feeding area and set up and ambush. Take no prisoners.

Go to md whitetails .com theres a guy over there goes by bowdeadly that has a JB hunt 50ft container full of corn that he baits turkeys in with... Maybe he can give you some pointers
