Anyone receive NY Doe Permits by Mail?

NYSDEC annouced that they where going to mail some 10,000 left over permits to people who where previously denied, has anyone received one yet? I was denied for 9P and they have leftovers, I am hoping I get one.

As I understand it any leftover DMP's were issued at licensing locations on a first come basis. I waited until Monday, 11/3 and the only choices left were Westchester (bow), Long Island and one of the area's around either Buffalo or Albany.

i got one last year, in the past few years they have been giving quite a few out just before the season

I tried for a 9S (allegany state park) , got denied and got a preference point. In late october I got a letter in the mail with the doe tag for there and the letter said I still keep the preference point. The letter said that there were fewer applicants than expected or something to that effect.

Thanks MG 36. I got rejected and was hoping to get a letter and a permit for 9P.

Does this include multiple request for the same area. Like I requested 8W both times. I got the first one, but not the second. Would I be eligible for the mail lottery?

I got one in the mail this year after being denied when I bought my license. Now I have 2 doe permits and can't see one DOE?
