HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania Game Commission Executive Director Vern Ross today announced that deer hunters recorded the safest season ever during the 2002 regular firearms deer season, which was held Dec. 2-14.
i think ARs played a role in that......i noticed ALOT less rapid fire spraying of lead through out the 3 hrs i was in the woods the first day....probally because brown might not be so legal to put down...but thats good news...good job guys

I would tend to agree. If you have to spend time counting points then you have to see if there are any points first.......not to mention four hooves, a tail, etc....
On the serious side though, I wonder what they are basing that figure on. I guess reading the link in question would answer that.
