Public Land Near Wayne Pa

Hey guys..any leadson public land within 30 mins from my home here in wayne.
i am thinking about hunting PA again...but need some leads...if u know about the
area u are recommending..please feel free to give information

Is Ridley Creek State Park too far for you. Bow hunting only until one day of shotgun. Lots of people hunt it but, all bow hunters so, if you look hard for a couple spots, you will find deer. Lots of doe in the area and always a couple big buck. Out of all the places I hunt in Delaware and PA, I see more deer there for the limited time put in then anywhere else.

thanks for the info..i also saw a few zones near here in chester county..and it stated that they had food plots?

Not sure what other land is around that is open to the public. If you get out to Ridley, let me know how you do. I have missed a couple chances of good buck there. Run into other hunters about every other time depending on the spots I hit. I used to be able to hit it on the way home from work, can't do that anymore with the kid and job. When we get into the late season, I may get there a few times.

sounds good..if i tag out in nj soon ill taek u up on that..i would imagine there are alot of bucks cruising through there
in november??
