Default Wanna start a NJ hunting club?

Anybody from NJ interested in starting a hunting club? I am looking to hunt some private land in NJ, and figured if we can get a few guys together, that maybe we could lease some land from a farmer or something.

I hunt Zone 2 and we may have an opening for Fall 03. I checked out a club in Stillwater, NJ and the guy wanted $650 plus $350 initiation. They plant some food lots and have loads of turkey and bear as well. It' s a little far for me but I could give you the guys name/email.

Let me know.

NJbowman...thanks for remembering me bud. I appreciate it.

Broadhead...sounds good, but a bit pricey, and I wanted to stick a bit closer to home, so I can do 1/2 day and after work hunts too.

Catskillhuntr, I should know soon about my bosses farm. I may be able to get all the hunting rights on it, and that would be a nice club site to start off with. The land is mostly corn, But we grow Grapes. Deer and Turkey allover the place. When I hear more I' ll post it here.

CatskillHunter - saw a post, on another board, where a NJ club had an opening. The contact person can be reached at jim@thekentgroup.com. The club has 468 acres and a club house. The property is gate locked. They do foodplots and habitat enhancement. I have no association with this club or this person. Saw your post and his and thought that this might help both of you.
