Default Question for MD folks...

Hey guys!

I've got a cousin who recently got stationed in MD, and a buddy and I are heading out there on Tuesday for about a 4 or 5 day hunt. He's seen several deer out there and I'm really looking forward to seeing some new country, and hopefully bring some meat home for the freezer. He lives in Brandywine and I think we'll be hunting some public and a few private areas too. the question I had was about how well a climbing stand would work.....I've got a summit viper that I've hunted out of for years, and just wondered what the timber was like there......big straight trees?

Thanks!

GH

Will work great, plenty of hardwoods and straight trees. BTW, It's back East, not out there, LOL

Your climber will be perfect. Just as Rickmur said, plenty of hardwoods around. Not sure where Brandiwine is but MD is covered with Deer. So shooting one won't be a problem. I've already had 22 deeraround meduring just 4 mornings out.

I used to hunt in Arkansas and I'm sure the woods in Missouri are very similar to Arkansas. You will find pretty much the same type of woods here. Good hunting in Brandywine area. Good luck!
