Looking for trapping in PA

A friend of mine lives in Mercersburg, PA and his son is just started hunting. He would like for his son to try some trapping local to his area. If anyone would have any idea that they could try it in that area, could you please let me know. Thank you.

trap where they hunt? look for SGLs and state parks in the area...(check regs before trapping in either place..)

knock on doors with the boy and ask permission to trap private farms...

when they find places to trap get out and scout and do some homework...
