From what my sister & brother-in-law say (They're in Brookfield, in Madison Co.), it has been verbally approved, but just needs to go up the chain in Albany to get signed.
I was jumping for joy when I heard about this but I'm now leaning towards hunting with my trusty old 12ga. I've shot 9 bucks with that gun so it's kinda hard to put it down[&o]

Yup... My sister & brother-in-law recently retired (they used to live downstate in Poughkeepsie, where my family is originally from) and bought the 125 acre farm in Brookfield. It's beautiful country up there. Peaceful and quiet... Tiny little town... I love going up there!
