Default 2008 NH Moose Application

Well I picked up my moose application today and got it all filled out. Hopefully this year (like in the past)I won'tleave it sitting on my work desk. In fact, I'll mail it in the morning! Seems like the past few seasons I had someone ask me after the deadline to get them in, "did you send in your applicationfor your moose tag?" I'd smack my forehead andthen ask them why didn't ask me a week ago?

So my point is......don't think you have plenty of time! Get them in now and be done with it

I would be willing to be your sub-permittee and have a camp on the border of WMU D or G.

Chris - Check you PM.
Answer to sub-permittee question... No only one moose per tag. You have to work who gets to shoot / tag the moose on your own.

Does a NR need to have a sub-permittee to hunt moose in NH?

I'm not sure weather a non resident or resident needs a sub-permittee, all I know is that you are allowed to have one.
To apply for the permit you do not need a sub-permittee @ that time.

As a NH resident I have applied for 10 years straight without being picked. Some people are questioning just how much of a lottery it is. I will keep on applying as I consider it a donation to the moose fund.

Here is one story that is true.Years agotherewas a guy that worked where I worked but I didn't really know him. His wife helped createthe promotional film for NH F/G prior to the first years NH deer lottery hunt. I believe the FG subcontracted the project to her. Well low and behold the following year she shows up as the number one pick in the state. Coincidence, lucky or rigged...you make the call. The next year, low and behold this gal's husband, who is mentioned above, shows up in the top 5 picks. Coincidence...not this time around.
