Default WV Mt. Lion

Can anyone in WV confirm this informationI got in an email today is correct? At first I thought it was Petersburg but then realized it wasn't.

Massive Mountain Lion (near Parkersburg, WV)
Date: Thu,
21 Feb 200810:47:53 -0500

This lion was hit between Grantsville and Walker WV by a car. Game and Fish had to come and put him down. He charged at the Fish and Game guy in the process. Look at his PAWS!

That would be the one listed here I believe:
http://www.hurherald.com/cgi-bin/db_scripts/articles?Action=user_view&db=articles_hurheral d&id=27669

Seems to be well traveled as a quick look around has it being in many states (Haven't seen it being it PA yet though, just give it time )

Thanks Ray for the URL clearing that up In the Dolly Sod and National Forest area, I might! might believe a sighting. But one that big I doubted it and I'm glad I did.

It's curious that there appears to be a mule deer rack in the background. Looks like a taxidermy shop.

I was gonna say the same thing. Looks like several mulie racks in the backround. I suspectpic was taken out west (where they have lions) and as it traveled the web it got reportedto be fromseveral states.

Not unlike the "porch cougar" pic that went around being reported as taken in about 8 states different states, but ended up being another western MT lion.

Look at the size of thatcat! Those feet are huge!! All of us hunters in the woods in NY and PA during hunting season, don't ya think we would see some sign in the snow. It's strange all of the sightings and no proof.

Im in a wv sportsman forum and someone there confirmed that a cal. car took this cat. I live right beside P-burg and news about this would have got out very quickly if it was true.
