Default help on finding ranches up in Maine

hi, i want to take a trip up to maine and do some small game hunting with my son. so i was wondering if you guys know any good ranchesthewould provide mea hunting dog and a shotgun for my son because i dont have a hunting dog just yet nor a shotgun that mysoncan use. i would love to go small game hunting with him because healways asks me if he can tag along while i go deer hunting but i cant let him because he is underageso i would love to take a trip up to Maine and small gamehunt for example some rabbits, quails ,and pheasents)......if you can provide me with some websites i would be very delighted thank you and god bless

From what I udnerstand, not many Ranch type hunting in Maine. I am sure there are plenty of guides though that can take you out for whats in season with their dogs.(Rabbits maybe?)

I don't think you'll find a place that will lend a kid a shotgun though.

I am not sure if he requires an age on youths but he has a couple of dogs. If you happen up that way you might want to arange a bass fishing trip as well on the Penobscot River if he is still doing that.
You can check it out at www.cedarridgepheasants.com, his hunting though is more like going in and around some cuttings. A nice guy that enjoys helping others out.. Good Luck.. For as far as rabbits you would probally need to get a guide to take you out during rabbit season. As this guy runs a bird farm so you would be guarrenteed to see birds though, I am also not sure about renting out a shotgun though..
