Default CORN BEING STOLEN OUT OF FEEDERS

i never thought i would see day that corn is being stolen out of deer feeders.
i am member of many sportsman clubs in clinton, lycoming, cameron county.

we filled the deer feeders in western clinton county on sat, this is near town of hyner,pa in wmu2g.

it was sad to see feeders that someone or someones cleaned out feeders.
corn is ten dollars a bag ,so i would say it was about 150 feeder or so that was lost.

i dont know what to say,it makes me sick that we have people doing this.

most likely they same ones that are violating the rules deer hunting also, i would bet.

if anyone has idea who might being doing this, i have a few tips already, please PM me,confidetial if you want.some of you have camps in this area and maybe you saw or heard something.

trust me, i will go after them with my own money to have them arrested and convicted.[:@]

Sad world we live in. Some people just have no respect for others or their hard work.

maybe people who don't have much $ are stealing it for heating fuel?

Some pellet stoves will also burn corn. I know nothing about those stoves but just a guess.

could be, you could be right.
most feel its going to feed their HOGS/CATTLE.
but, 1 guy we did catch was feeding his deer in yard 1 month before opening of deer season,so many are saving corn then using it to bait in the TURKEYS/DEER a year from now.

How would they get the corn out and carry it off?

Are you sure it wasn't some critters

Bears and deer combined. I have about 8 deer that move through my backyard every night and morning. A 10 pound bag doesn't make it past 24 hours.

Seems like a lot of effort just to steal corn. Even for a not too bright criminal.

I swear everything bad happens in your area.
poaching, game law breaking, deer population extirmination, corn stealing, people that break laws & who don't pay fines and stillincur no punishment.

You should move.

Maybe an investigation ought to be started on Pennsylvania's own little Bermuda Triangle
