Default Shooting wild hogs on hold in PA

PA residents - Just read the release 002-08 from the PGC. Looks like we can't shoot any wild hogs fora while until they decide what they want to do with them. Check it out.

"something else for them to get money out of us for."

You realize that the PASupreme Court dumped this into the game commission's lap because some bunny hugger tried to put an end to "canned hunts", right?

I seriously doubt any extra cost will bea part of the new piggy regs, once they're enacted (which the court just ordered them to do).

Since the PGC had no jurisdiction over feral hogs prior to the court's decision and had been urging us to kill feral hogs, figure any new regs on feral hogs will be similar to current regs on shooting 'yotes.

What are you smokindown there in VA?
The PGC is adamant about not wanting to let hogs get established here.
Creating any fee and therefore, deterrents, for the chance to kill them is about as likely as you getting that 1.75 mil for that 120ac

DougE:
you have to buy a trappers liscense to shoot coyotes and bobcatscorrect???,,,i think that changed around 2000-01,,,cause i used to coyote hunt the 1st week of buck season if i tagged out early in the week but then i stopped because it just was not feasible to buy a non res. trapping liscense

BtBow:
Ok!,,,,we will just wait and see how this all works out.
