NY Opener Results

Saw 8 this morning in Dutchess County. 3 bucks, small 8, 6 and 4 pointer. The rest does. Let them all walk. Was hopin to see the big boy!! One hot doe in the area cause those 3 bucks were chasing her in circles around my stand for about and hour. Hoping those bucks make it threw the season but I have a feeling they won't. How'd everyone else do?

Nice deer. Saw 3 does & a 4 pointer. He was wounded, now he's dead. Butcher says he'll be ready in the a.m. I'll get back after the doe's in the morning. Had lots of snow last night, and the leaves are still on the trees, so it was tough to see much. My buddy got a coyote.

saw a buck at first light...too dark to shoot though and then he chased after a doe. in the afternoon i saw a doe and a fawn together. looking forward to tomorrow for sure.

I connected on a decent 8 point at 1:20pm in Tioga county.Overall i bet i didnt hear 50 shots the entire day.The buck that i took was the only deer i saw.

Took what I thought was my freezer filler doe, ended up being a button buck. Hunted in 5R. Now I can wait for the big boy!!

Here is my buddys deer he got in Tioga county a nice 8 .
The guy behind the deer weighs 450 lbs and is 6 foot 6 in.
