RE: CT State Land
I hunt State land and Ido use scents.I watched a 6 point nose right up tothe scent wickthen lay down a scrape throwing dirt and leaves 15 feet. I swear by it. It's Wildlife Research and the bottle has a date and says "use in the calender year." As far as rattling, no luck there "yet" and as far as the calls, I have. I had a button walk up on me, bust me then take off. I grunted a few times and he turned right around and came right back. Too small to shoot but I guess it was a familiar voice to him. A buddy of mine swears by using the grunt call along with the bleat can pretty much at the same time. I've had no luck there either. Good luck this season, the 14th is only days away.
