Default RE: W.Virginia rut?

Sure don't know when the pre-rut or rut will be. It always seems to be off everytime I think it is time. The pre-rut should be sometime early in November with the rut close to the Thanksgiving week, give or take a week.

You might want to consider looking at Charles (can't remember his last name) from Deer and Deer Hunting Magazine on his rut predictions.

It has been so warm here and we are really low on rainfall. Here it is October 3rd with temps ranging from the mid 70's to upper 80's.

Good luck.
