Default soldeirs delight public land - MD

anyone ever hunted here? its in Baltimore county, MD. my unc said they just opened it up last year b/c deer were terring up everything, he said they only allow certain # of hunters a day, like a WMA, but said he heard there are alot of deer there. anyone know anything about it? thanks

No man, its horrible hunting. Don't hunt it.

Seriously however, its right beside liberty. If you don't like liberty, you won't like it. As with any public land, it has alot of hunting pressure on weekends. And usually some pressure thru the week. Deer are there. Same as liberty, just have put some time into it, to find them. I notice even the fawns are very spooky right now. I watch them stay in the thickets and move slowly and cautiously. So if your hunting public land and hunting openings or field edges, don't count on seeing much.

I go deep in thickets. And I change up alot. I try to never hunt the same stand more than twice.

thanks alot big. yea i found a nice little spoti beleive on liberty so i might try that out. you are right tho, its probably the almost the same deer, right? since its backed up to liberty...? thanks for the advise bud
