Elk Hunting in PA

Fellow Hunters I came across this site doing a search on Elk Hunting in PA. I wonthe PA elk hunting lottery yesterday and found out about it this morning. I drew a cow tag,a bull would have been better but Yahoo anyway. I would like to get in contact with recent PA elk lottery winners to get some advise, feedback, recommendations etc. I drew area 1,2,3 &10

Any help would be appreciated.

talk to the rangers in those areas. they know where the elk hang out.

Congrats on your draw. Shouldn't have too much problem getting a cow in one of thoseareas.

There are guides that have been posting on www.huntingpa.com message boards. there's more than enough information on that site, including some successful hunters from past seasons.

Congrats on the tag. Your best bet would be to talk to some PGC officers in those areas they can get you headed in the right direction as far as finding people to guide you.
