Default Anybody have any luck in New Jersey yet?

I don't get my bow license until until the 22nd but I've done a bit of scouting and seen deer in the Assunpink. Gonna try and get out for some more this Saturday or Sunday.

i probably wont be out until the 29th when my zone opens.i get a whole 3 weeks to hunt then i gotta pay again . im gonna cut out some extra permits this year. will be hunting pennsylvania more this year though to make up. this state is squeezing the hunters . the new permit system is just gonna drive hunters to stay home. i say we all just dont purchase permits this year and send a message. if they really wanted to make money there are so many other options. they just keep making up new permits. its to the point its comical. you dont get much in return and they just keep touting look at how many deer you can shoot. oh brother! is that what hunting is all about? i called the wildlife supervisors office and they told me because of budget reasons zones 23,18.21 fields are not getting planted again. they arent even managing the land in my opinion. i went down to agway and got a couple 55 lbs of rye seed for 14$ each. your gonna tell me they cant afford it? what are you getting in return?

Did they change something with permits for this year? Do I just have to get my bow license bow zone permit / shotgun license / shotgun zone permit or is there more?

I was talking to one of my friends today and you don't need a zone permit for fall bow? When does that end and you need to buy a permit?

One of my buddies got a fat doe this afternoon so I just got back from helping out with skinning and butchering and now I have fresh venison in my stomach!
