NJ Opening Day - Sept 8th

I have off, but got hit with a Wedding and a surprise 80th B-day party. I should have off on Monday though, so I'll be out there, can't wait! Anyone else heading out?

I'll be out on the 8th. Not too long because we're heading down to the shore for a weeks vaca, but I'l hit it for a few hours. Thats probably it for the 1st week though.

the zone I hunt doesn't open until the last Saturday of September, on that day I will be out

i was yousaturday morning............around 6:40 i had a small 6 in velvet at 20 yards....thats all i saw.
gonna try monday morn .....hopefully see more action

I just hunted in the morning...too hot in the afternoon. I had 9 come into the stand at once. Seven of 'em had spots. Wanted to take the biggest of the two larger does, but I had too many eyes looking around, and couldn't move without spooking them, so I just sat there and watched the show.
