Default Maryland Bow Season 2007 Reports/Rants/Check-In Etc.

Well here it is, two days from the start of September and a little over two weeks away from the opener. Temps still seem to be rather warm, butif anyone else is like me, they are either starting or have had the itch for some time now. No, not that itch.

Just thought I would check in and see how many other MD guys are getting the bows ready for the upcoming season. I finally got the Guardian zero'd in and am ready to rock n roll. Maybe we can also use this thread as a "hunting report" section for our 2007 Bow season. Good luck!

I have had the itch for about 2 months now (Until I went and got the cream for it) LOL! For real now, I am ready to go. Got the old Onieda sighted in at 25yds. I'll let you all know how it goes in my small space of Pee Gee county. Good luck to all.

I've spent the last couple of months getting all my gear ready, practicing, scouting. Starting to see a lot of deer sign, several bachelor groups of big bucks in my hunting area. Yeah, you could say I'm pumped!! Hope to have some pics of my first bow kill on the board soon.

I started getting pumped for bow season on Feb 1st. I have been shooting everyday, been making some scouting trips and scouring my topo maps for something I missed the other500 times I have looked at them. Sept 15 cannot get here soon enough. I think you may see picks of me and Rick C. with some big bucks on this board on the 16th.

Equipment wise I've been ready for months. I just got my permits in the mail last night. The only thing I have left to do is wash my clothes in baking soda. I'm working the 15th so my first day in the woods will be the 17th.Good luck to everyone this season.

Thats good to hear Rick! I am hoping to get out in the woods this weekend to check on my two lock-on locations from last year. They could've porduced some nice deer last year, but I passed up the chance in hopes that some might come back a little larger this year. I'll have to find some time one day to try and meet you and DaveH since you guys hunt in the same county. Well, off to the archery shop to BS for a bit.

Now that I think about it. If its not too super thing in the woods (although obviously it wil be), I might try and take some pics of my two locations to post in the thread. Who knows.

Yea, well not "my" shop, but thats where I purchased my Guardian and thats where I go sometimes during the season if I want some other stuff. The guys up there are pretty knowledgable and friendly from my experience. All in all a nice little shop. They also have that video 3D range which can be fun at times.
