DECALS in NY - Any Info on results?

I'm curious if anyone has heard how the DECALS system of reporting harvested deer worked out this year in NY. Alot of people I know, did not call in their kills, (lost the 1" x 1" tag in the snow, forgot, didn't understand, etc, etc.)

Has anyone heard of any information out of Albany?

I haven't heard anything either, I like to read each year how many deer are taken compared to how many hunters there where.

Our local paper reported that 80,000 people reported deer kills the first week.I reported three and didn't have a problem. I don't think you will see less deer reported, how many never mailed there's in. I know I have forgot in the past.

All my reports went in slick as snot! I like the system now that they have the bugs worked out (optimistic)

I reported two didn't have a problem, still would like to know how many were taken or atleast reported.
