Default Turkey hatch??

Just wondering how many of you have been seeing young turkey poults this year?? Seems like they were later this spring/summer than normal here in W. PA. How is the numbers compared to what you are used to seeing? Personally, I feel I've been seeing more this year than I have in the past few. Just curious as to what the rest of you think...........

Strange you should mention a late hatch, my father-in-law while brush hogging along the edge of a field bumbed a hen off a nest with 11 eggs last week. That's the latest I've ever known them to be sitting.

I have been seeing alot this year. It seems every field I go by has a couple of hens w/ 1/2 a dozen or so little ones.

This is the 1st year I can remember where I haven't seen a single poult. I'm still seeing hens though. All with no little ones. [&:]
