Default Here comes the annual WHO'S GETTING STOKED thread

Maryland squirrel season is only like 30 days away. Deer is another 15 days. I'll be out looking to get my hunting license this week. Anyone else getting stoked? Dumb questions huh!

Try waiting until Oct 13th to start deer hunting and have only 5 weeks to bow hunt! I've been ready for a month.

I have the bug real bad. Starting to count down the days. Slice and I went fishing the other night andI think I told him I was ready for bow season about 25 times. Plus I'm out of deer meat so I need to to do some kill'n 'n grill'n.

I read this post yesterday and realized I hadn't bought my license yet! Took care of that today, ready to roll on opening day.

How early do they start selling licenses for the next year? I usually like to wait a day or two past that day because one year I went out on the day they were supposed to start selling licenses and no one was ready. Now I just wait till that weekend or the following week.

Gotta pick up my license tomorrow to get that part out of the way.

I've been watching deer hunting shows lately and am definately getting stoked, despite the 100 plus degree temps.Just thinking of deer footfalls in the leaves gets me wanting the season to be here already.
