I went to college at Lycoming and hunted North of Billtown around a large lake that was surrounded by PA SGL. Can't remember the name of the lake but we (2 guys) shot 2 bucks in 4 years. The big mountain and old growth forest in that area (Williamsport)make it tough to find the deer.

There is also a big game lands south of Town that also holds a lot of deer. We found an area way back that when the pressure started we saw lots of deer. This game lands is probably your best opportunity.

Good luck!!!!

I went to Bloomsburg University which is about 45min to an hour away. I shot numerous deer with my bow up there. It'll be just like anywhere else, if you put your time in scouting, you'll find the deer.
