Default Massachusetts Monsters from 2002 (brace yourself)

Amazing deer being produced in this state in the last couple years. That typical is absolutely World class and should go very high in BC. The bottom one is just plain mammoth. Unreal deer. DL

Not much yet. The big typical was shot at the Quabbin Reservoir, and the non-typical was shot out in East Otis which is out west of Springfield. There will be stories behind both of these deer soon, I'm sure. That typical looks like the Hanson buck!! It must have a 26-30" inside spread! DL

Wow I thought the overpopulation problem at Quabbin would make it hard to get a deer like that.

Wow!!! I'm speechless over that typical. That should score VERY high, it's got to be close to the Hanson buck.

And being the neighbor in CT, I was expecting pics of a spike or a 6-pointer---holly crap Batman, Robin laid an egg!!!

I have a mentor who fishes regularly at/around Quabain with the flyrod---he's seen some monsters, but doesn't hunt.

I think what's most amazing is that typical doesn't appear to be that old---maybe 3.5 judging by his body size and facial hair.

You can obviously tell the non-typical is quite a bit older...of course we can't see their teeth <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Strut&Rut..... I was going to say the same thing about that typical. Appears to be realitively young can you imagine him at like 5 1/2 - 7 1/2 yrs. old. Both awesome deer.
