Default Are they gobbling for you in N.Y

I've gone into last week prep for our opener. In areas I know theres birds I am not hearing any gobbling at daybreak. I'm not totally worried since I've seen them and know they aren't moving too far off. Its just so much more fun when there sounding off. Its eerily similar to about 4 yrs ago same thing no gobbles but birds cooperated on the opener coming in silent. Anybody else having similar situation our are your birds talkin?

They've been gobbling around the Watertown area. I think the state should look into opening up a a couple weeks earlier down state (southern zone) b/c it does warm up a little earlier down there compared to up north. Maybe some comments by hunters after this season would help. What does anyone else think?
