Did you ever introduce themto Rabbit Skinswhen they were Pups and played or teased them with it? Just because they are called Rabbit Dogs doesn't mean that when they get older they willgo straight to hunting Rabbits. It means that they have the bloodlines to be a Potential rabbit dog if trained properly when young.

Dogs don't understand Words, they learn sounds of different words that you teach them. By teasing and playing with Rabbit skins and repeating the word Rabbit to them when young, they learn what you are asking of them as they get older.

Then you have to teach them to bring them to you andnot to run off and chew them up. Keep treats in your pocket when training and they will associate the treat with brining them back.
