PGC SAYS DEER ARE STARVING

hope you got to red article and pictures of the deer that the pgc says .are starving and must go..

this is at the federal gov. campus in broughton,pa. near pittsburgh..

pgc says there are 200 deer on this private property and they must be SHOT!!
IF you would look at pictures of deer, they have nice healthy coats and fat sassy bellys..

so, they are going to have company shoot them..

pgc will not be happy until no deer are left anywhere, now, they are after private land owners to KILL THEM STARVING DEER OFF..

PGC ,DCNR, make me sick!!

get ready, pittsburgh,HR is now coming to you!! you wont like the end result,for sure!!

This has been discussed for weeks elsewhere. Haven't seen this take on it though, but no surprise there.

IIRC, the deer are far too numerous for the amount of habitat; some are infected with parasites; some are in poor shape and the PGC does not want them chased out of the fenced-in area and into the general deer population in the area...even if they could chase them out.

Sproulman, you're missing the most dramatic thing. Talk at Chubby's Bar is of helicopters spraying them with a sort of "deer round up" that only kills deer.
They was gonna use agent orange or napalm but supplies of that are low.
I saw some Ninga PGC agents checking out my private land yesterday. Buggers musta been dong a deer count and gonna hire local expert shooters to kill all four of them off.
Yup them deer are "fat with sassy bellies" --- and each and every one of them gotta die.
Now get back out there on the "beat" and get us another news scoop.

Sproulman I read about these deer but never got to see pictures of them Ill take your word on it but there was another poster that said they were sick and people were bringing food to them and everything else. If theres that many deer as they say there are maybe a controoled hunt every couple yrs would help the situation out.

Sproul, the area was fenced after 911 because it is a government contractor or something like that. The deer cannot get out and NO people are allowed in. They do not want to release the deer because the suburbs of Pittsburgh are already overrun with them. They simply have no choice but to cull some deer there and the public isn't allowed on the premises.
There is simply no choice here but what is going to transpire.
It's not too far from where I live.
This has nothing to do with GC policy. It is restricted FED controlled property.

i happen to be in same situation in olney,md..about 10 years ago..they had deer there and state wanted them killed off for various reasons..

i went to public meeting, the state said they were STARVING..well, maybe with those big fat bellys they just looked STARVING AND DISEASED..

real reason was they wanted them dead because they were eating rich peoples flowers..i asked ,WHY DONT YOU TRAP THEM OUT AND MOVE THEM TO OTHER AREAS..they said same thing to me,if we move them they have disease..

penn state trapped deer in wmu2g,they bragged about all deer they trapped..they could trap thosedeer out and move them..

BUT ,remember, pgc says they are all SICK..well, i am not there and pictures i have show everyone in picture with BIG FAT SASSY BUTTS..

i just dont believe word that our PGC says anymore..i really believe they are using that DISEASE thing so they dont have to bother with it..
