Default Any mistake kills in PA?

Has anyone mistakenly killed a buck this year during gun season. If so what happened? There must be some out there. Do you know of anyone that has turned himself in?

I came across a 4pt that was shot in the neck in mckean county and also saw a spike that was thrown over a cliff that was shot in the guts, but there were tracks up to and going away from both der. and some guy my dad works with turned himself in and got a 500 dollar fine for " knowing the deer was not legal and still shooting" as the game officer stated. and he lsot his license for a year. I tagged a nice hefty doe tho 7 miles north of kane MCKEAN county.

No, but I did see a spike on the back of someone's truck. It was short so maybe it was below 3". Either that or it could have been a junior hunter. A couple of our guys passed up bucks because they didn't have time to count the points.
