Default PA hunters how was your first day

I was hunting in Mckean county a few miles outside of kane. I took a mature doe with my browning .270. My dad , brother , and friend also all scored on doe. I also went to the BIG BUCK contest in Kane and saw some emormous bucks there. This season had the most bucks at the contest. So all and all it was a pretty good opening weekend at our camp.

How did all of you other PA hunters do on your first day???

Whack em and stack em

I killed a spike here in Blair Co. This was my last year without antler restrictions so I was actually hoping for a spike. One side was 8 1/4" and the other was just under 6". Still have another doe tag. Might save it for later achery season.
