I took a 14 inch 7 point that dresses 155, thick and tall but not wide
and my brother took a 17 in 9 point that dressed 160
I passed on a few small ones in hopes of having a chance next year.
This has been my best bow season which I also too two nice does. I just have to say that this is my first year passing on deer and it has paid off.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Due to a baby on the way, I only got out twice during bow and passed on several spikes and a 3pt plus several small does. Went out once for Muzzle and again passed a spike and several small does. We havent seen anything decent on our lease and the total take has been 1 4pt/1 5 pt/4 does so far in 2002.

Prior to this year, I did not hunt for 10 years so I am excited about getting into the woods again and harvesting some venison. I moved to NJ 6 years ago and just found someone to give me permission. New Bow and New gun and now a new freezer in the basement.

1 Doe in Fall Bow
2 Doe (within minutes, in the same field)during the firearm season

Now I am looking for Big Daddy Buck.
