Default USP suit could cost them $$$

I just read in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review that the PA State Attorney Generals office has been askedto consider recovering restitution from the USP for their frivolous lawsuit.

Sounds fair that the taxpayers of PA shouldn't have to foot the bill for their dog and pony show.

Of course and this is all legal and on the up and up. If a suit is dismissed as without merit the defendant can sue for damages, and they really should in this case because the legal expense came from the general fund of the state of PA I believe. That means all us taxpayers. I want my money back!

Commissioner Isabella is the one that asked the AG's office to consider recovering the costs of litigation from USP. He was also bounced from USP'smembers-onlychat forum last week, even though he has been a life member of that org for years.

SinceUSP isboasting about all the new members the lawsuit campaign hasbrought them, sounds about right that they berequired to spend some of that new-found wealth back to the taxpayers of Pennsylvania.

BTW, they were a no-show at today's PGC meeting. Suspect their spin will be that there is no point in attending, sincethey'll claim that the commissioners pay no attention to hunter input anyway. The commissioners did manage to pay attention to the 50+ that came to speak today. More will address the board tomorrow morning, prior to the scheduled meeting reports and consideration of agenda items.

Dr. B and Woody the avocational deer biologist were at today's PGC meeting. Both looked kindaglum, but since they generally alwayslook that way, hard to tell if it was due to anything they'd just heard there?

USP should get their members together next hunt season, Apply for as many does tags as they can, Go to each SGL and drive the deer till everyone fills their tags. 25 hunters per drive times 2 to 3 doe tags each=50+ dead deer per 25 hunters per group.About 200k members,That will get the doe season closed for sure.WE plan on doing that next year with our group of about 15 so far we have decided. We will start on opening day and drive the SGL as hard as we can to fill all of our tags. Maybe the USP might want to consider this kind of action since the court action don't work. Make them close the doe season down for couple years. Action is stronger than words and need to be used sometimes to get the job done.

The USP has 200,000 members?[&:]

Well, after reading your ingenious plan, it sounds like you and your compadres would fit right in with the USP.

Bellview.....better build a new wing, and stock up on those cute little suits. The ones with the buttons in the back.
