Default PA area 2B archers... good news

I jst read the agenda for the PGC meeting coming up and one of the proposals is to extend archery in 2B so that it will essentially be in continously from Sept 15 till Jan 26 with no gaps other than sundays . the extensions will be doe only and thearchery buckseasons will stay in the traditional format.

No more gap between mid November and gun season, no more gap between gun season and Christmas and a few extra weeks on each end.

Sounds good to me

Now its up to us to do our part in killing off some does before the rut!

5c and 5D but I think thats not a change for them. Go to the PGC website and look for the PGC meeting agenda. It's on page 57 and 58

Sept 15...wow, that's early..even before the second doe tags get mailed back. this will be cool if they pass it.

Woo hoo, looks like I'll have to send for a few more doe tags. Maybe I can hit 10!

I'm not pleased that bucks were omitted from the extension. I think that buck archery should move back two weeks if nothing else. Start in mid Oct and end at gun season.
