Default Delaware Hand Gun ???

Who is going and what are you using.
I will be out using a Contender, with a 12"357 max. barrel, witha 2.5 X 7 T/C scope on it. Good luck to all and safe hunting

OLDSNOW,

I'll be out with a 44 Ruger Super Blackhawk "Hunter" S/A. SS with Millett Red Dot.Using Winchester 240gr JSP.

That T/C should be a nice weapon on deer! My buddy borrowed a S&W .357(open sights). We ended up with consistant 3" groups at 20' and about 4" at 30yrds.That should be good for clean kill.

BTW - What kind of round are you using in your T/C??

Thanks AJ.
I havn't kill a deer with it yet, hoping that will change this year. This 357 maximum set up will shoot consistant4" groups at 100 yds.

OLDSNOW - Sounds like your contender is a real shooter !

Maybe we'll both get lucky this week and take our 1st deer with handgun.

BTW - What kind of round/bullet are you using in that 357 ??

As I mentioned in previous post my buddy borrowed a 357.He got some shells with gun,in unmarked box??He ended up buying box of 125gr HP's(??? brand).

Anyway -- I just bought my 44 last year. I'm still playing with bullets and trying to become more proficient with the "Red Dot" scope.Much differant than holding a long gun "dead on target".

AJ This is a 357maximum not a 357magnum, you can not buy ammo for the maximum it must be reloaded.ThebulletI use is a180 gr. Hornady single shot pistol bullet and a max load of Accurate Arms 1680 powder.Good luck on that first hand gun deer.
