Default PGC slackers

A young hunter I know shot a 4pt. the first day and it was wounded and full of gagreen and smelled real bad,he taged it and when hegot home he called the pgc .They said they would stop by and give him a new tag. Here is the as* kicker they never showed or anything so he just though it away after waiting a couple of days. Why would they drop the ball on a young hunter like this.I have to wander if it was a booner would they have been there within the hour.

If you'd please tell me the regional office that was called and when, plus the young hunters name, I will gladly check on it for you. You may not know this, but regional office phone lines are recorded so we can look into this situation quite quickly with just some basic information.

Not calling anyone a liar, but your assuming the story is true. You know how easy it is to make up stories on the net. If you recall Joe asked another poster who claimedsome PGC wardens practically molested them for names and they didn't provide any further response. People have been bashing the PGC for a long time on this board. It seems to have become "THE" thing to do for some. I have yet in 29 years had an issue in the field with a warden. They've all been very helpful.

I know nothing of the sort. Its quite easy to throw out accusations without facts. All I have asked for issome informationso it can be looked into. As another poster said I'm not calling anyone a liar but over the years, I've found the "facts" as posted by many people do not match the facts after investigation. Stories have a way of getting a life of their own. I've also found that my attempts to rectify situations are generally treated as a positive thing - at least by those who keep an open mind about the PGC.

John - do you have evidence and facts relating to the investigation that were not revealed to the Inspector General and the Attorney Generals office? Does it have anything to do with a grassy knoll?

Otherwise, that case has been closed for years despite attempts to resurrect it.

Another question....Since the PGC now has many districts vacant because of revenue shortfalls, have you written to your legislator to express your feelings about lack of services because the PGC can't fund personnel? Is 68 current vacancies ok wih you? Just curious.
