Default Another PA question? Sorry Other State guys!

Do you think the PGC needs to maintain 6 offices thoughout the stae or could it be reduced to 3? Here's the break down as it is now. Each color obviously represents an office. Would this be feasible or would it make each area to large? This could probably save some serious cash per year.

I would assume you mean just have left, middle, right instead of being divided north south also. I think it might be a little much to have an office covering southwest and northwest pa at once. The only thing I would really like to see them do is make the WMUs smaller to better manage the herd throughout different areas. I know that where I hunt has too many deer. About 25 acres and by halfway through muzzleloader there wasnt an apple or acorn to be found anywhere in the woods. The deer were already nipping the ends of teh redbrush off. Then I can drive 7 miles down the road to the Crossingville gamelands and there are acorns and feed everywhere and never see a deer. These areas are relatively close so I can understand the problems others are seeing.

Yes that is what I was asking. I should have been a bit clearer. I was just thinking they claimed they need to save some money and reducing these expenses could have been and idea. It probably would be too difficult to manage the areasas lagre as they'd be. I agree WMU's are too big right now. I think they had a better idea when the counties controlled doe licences.
