Default moonlight shifting deer movement

When I finished hunting this afternoon I could see my shadow ahead of my flashlight beam. The moon was behind me and was bright enough to create a shadow. Very discouraging. I'm sure the deer are probably moving now, way beyond sunset. How are you guys hunting this moonlit time? Are you going out late morning instead of before sunrise? I've given up going out early but I'm not sure when the deer start moving again after late night moonlit feeding. What time are you shifting to, or are you just going out the same time and stayng longer?

Default RE: moonlight shifting deer movement

On the last full moon phase, I went out at 11AM and by 1PM I had already seen 8 deer. I saw activity all throughout the day up until when the sun set. Keep in mind that I am in Maryland, but just wanted to give you an idea of what I experienced earlier this year. I have never hunted based on the moon, but after that day, I think I'm going to start to hunt later when its a full moon out.
