I was out yesterday and the bucks were still rutting. My buddy and I saw a total of 6 bucks and one was a monster 8 pt. We each passed a spike and couldnt get at the rackers. We didnt see a thing in the afternoon but had a good morning.

What area were you hunting in? (Private land, WMA,etc)I might be in Turkey Swamp this weekend, since I do not know many areas to hunt where I live(Middletown). My hunting club is down by Greenwood State Forest, but that is not till shotgun season.
Rut still going in NJ....
