any ny hunters have any luck this windy weekend?

Bowhunted most of the day Fri. Only jumped a couple deer heading into a midday stand. Awoke Sat. morning to heavy rains, windy which was to be expected. Did a couple tasks outside in the rain around camp property. Packed up, and headed home. There's just no sense in trying to fling arrows in winds, and rains like got.

I hunted thurs. friday. sat.

I had the best hunt of my life on friday morning. in central NY. madison county(then it turned bad). 8:20am 30 degrees sun shine and a nice 9 pt. walks out in front of me. I pull the bow back let the shot rip and it hits it mark. The buck runs in a complete circle andthen run along side a swamp. I wait about 45 mins. and start to track with my cousin, we find blood and no arrow.The arrow is stuck in the deer!! we continue to track and walk up on it all of a sudden the buck jumps up and starts to run full speed about 30 yards and runs right off the cliff. Falls off about 120 to 130 feet i guess into a rock pit. We have to leave and drive to this area on the other side of the mountain and when we get there. There is the deer arrow and all with the rack all broken and the body all ripped up from hitting the rocks and floor on the trip down. My original 9 pt. turned into a spike about on 1 side and nothing but broken knub on the other. YOU WANT to talk about a bad hunting experience. never in a million years could i have dreamed of something like this. But i got the arrow back and that wasn't even broken, even after the fall. (bemen ics camo hunter 400's)
I guess better luck next time.... i guess. < this had happen before to someone else that leased this property before me. the owner stated>

I drove to camp Saturdaymorning and hunted until noon. By that time I had enough!Ate some lunch and drove home. I saw 1 doe runningaway from 2 small bucks that's it.

I know that dream buck is out there andI'm not giving up!

i went out sat evening and seen 1 small buck went out sunday seen nothing . went out last night seen 3 does and shot one and it was @5:05 pnm and the shot was not all that great so i wated intill this morning and i can;t find nothing found a clump of hair but no doe or arrow. iam pissed

cant some taxidermist make replicas of the antlers or something?

spent sunday in 3M . . . saw a ton of does and one small 4 pt. despite all the wind . . . wasn't able to get any shots off though

Hey rx i also hunt 3m and saw a ton of does on saturday. didnt even bother to go out on sunday
