I've been excited for a few weeks now and I'm having problems staying focused on work. I've got to go out of town until Saturday, so I won't be in the woods until the afternoon. I don't know how I'm going to make it until then.

sat in my blind on Sunday & Monday morning. Saw 2 doe and a buck (long tined 4 pt). Finally getting my bow dialed in. can't wait for Saturday (actually about2.5-3 weeks from Saturday will get exciting - but the getting there is fun also)

Jitters, and haven't slept in 2 days!! You sure its buck fever, hahahaha. I always look forward to the opener for Southern archery. Nothing like being at camp, and bowhunting the southern tier. Even though I've alreadly been out bowhunting northern tier early season its like another opening day all over again! I also got lucky, and arrowed a nice doe this past Friday. Fresh meat in the freezer makes the opener even sweeter. Pressures off to get that 1st deer of the yr. now I can have fun!

Nice job.

Forecast is still calling for cold temps, and more wind than I care to enjoy in the trees.
